About focus groups

The members of Alliance4Life are organised in eight thematic Focus Groups adressing various disciplines of research management. The members of the focus groups are experts in giver area from each members institution. The experts work together and share best practices to systematically lift up the expertise in each area and to provide a better support to the research community.

The focus groups collect and compare indicators and set develomental strategies that they jointly implement. The members provide peer Training to each other or invote external experts to develop their skills. Focus groups members also search for sitable funding opoortunities to address various research management challenges together. Last but not least, focus groups serve as advisory bodies for work package leaders and task leaders who are dealing with tasks concerning particular research management areas.
