Neurobiology

The virtual Department of Neurobiology at the Alliance4Life Virtual Research Center focuses on understanding the structure and function of the nervous system, withparticular emphasis on neurodegenerative diseases, cognitive processes, and neural repair mechanisms. Researchers collaborate to explore molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying conditions such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, with the goal of identifying biomarkers and potential therapeutic interventions. Advanced technologies like optogenetics, functional MRI, and neural network modeling are used to study brain activity and behavior. The department also explores interdisciplinary collaborations with data science and AI specialists for large-scale brain data analysis.

🔬 Join us, shape the department

This department is dedicated to advancing research and collaboration in Cardiovascular Diseases. As the department grows, this space will showcase:

  • Participating Research Groups & Contacts – Connecting experts across institutions.
  • Current Projects & Collaborations – Highlighting innovative research and joint efforts.
  • Key Publications & Outputs – Sharing impactful findings and contributions.
  • Events & Webinars – Engaging the research community with discussions and knowledge exchange

We invite researchers and experts to join us in shaping this department, contributing to its activities, and driving meaningful advancements in the field.
