We would like to warmly invite you to join the upcoming strategic dialogue “How to Transform Scientific Excellence into European Competitiveness: Strategic Dialogue on the European Competitiveness Fund and the Biotech Act”, organised by Masaryk University.

The discussion will focus on two key European initiatives shaping the future of research, innovation, and biotechnology:

11:00–12:00 | European Competitiveness Fund – strategic priorities and next steps
Discussion with representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW).

12:00–13:00 | Biotech Act – Path to a competitive European biotechnology sector
Discussion with representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE).

This dialogue represents an excellent opportunity to discuss how Europe can better translate scientific excellence into innovation capacity, competitiveness, and societal impact — topics highly relevant for the A4L community.
