RMA Academy: Financial Management of Horizon Europe Projects

The Alliance4Life_BRIDGE project invites research management and administration professionals from across the consortium to participate in a one-week Research Management and Administration (RMA) Academy focused on the financial management of Horizon Europe projects.

The training will provide participants with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of EU financial rules and requirements, strengthen their practical skills in project financial management, and exchange experience with colleagues from partner institutions. It will also foster closer cooperation and knowledge sharing among research management professionals across the Alliance4Life consortium.

The Academy will be led by Mr Raphael de Vivans, CEO and Founder of European Fund Management Consulting (EFMC).

With extensive experience as a former external auditor for the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD), Mr de Vivans has conducted audits and on-the-spot controls of beneficiaries across Europe, including universities, public and private companies, SMEs and non-profit organisations. His expertise covers EU financial regulations, eligible costs, accounting and recording systems, audit procedures, and the financial management of European projects.

Drawing on his practical experience, the training will offer valuable insights into the financial aspects of Horizon Europe projects and the challenges faced by beneficiaries during project implementation and audits.
