He holds leadership roles in Alliance4Life and has served as Minister of Education and Research in Estonia, as well as a key advisor to national and international scientific organizations.

Scientific Secretary at CEITEC Masaryk University, where she plays a central role in shaping and implementing scientific strategy and institutional development. She holds a Ph.D. in biomolecular chemistry and is an experienced research manager with long-standing expertise in research evaluation, talent management, and strategic development activities. She is also actively engaged in advancing social safety and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment within academic institutions.

Head of the Department of Communication and Strategy at CEITEC Masaryk University, where she oversees institute governance, communication, and external relations. She has been involved in Alliance4Life since its inception as a chair of FG HR and Mobility. She coordinates the HR Excellence in Research Award at CEITEC and works on the systematic implementation of transparent and sustainable HR and governance practices. Her academic background includes sociology, gender studies, public law, and public finance.

Project Manager with extensive experience in coordinating international consortium-based projects under EU frameworks such as H2020, Horizon Europe (WIDERA, ERC, MSCA, DIGITAL EUROPE). Successfully led the Alliance4Life Action project and now manages the Alliance4Life BRIDGE initiative. Holds a degree in Economic Policy and Administration from Masaryk University.

Director of the Biomedical Research Center of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and a leader in molecular oncology, specializing in cancer biomarkers, hypoxia, and tumor biology. Key contributor to Alliance4Life’s strategic initiatives, co-inventor of CA9-based cancer diagnostics, and member of EMBO for achievements in life sciences.

Vice-Rector for International Relations and Head of Structural Biology at the Medical University of Lodz, specializing in medicinal chemistry and molecular biology. Focuses on diabetes, polyphenol applications, and molecular predictors of type 2 diabetes. A Board Member of Alliance4Life Bridge, she has served as an EC expert and held leadership roles in EIT Health and EU research initiatives.

Vice Dean for Science at University of Zagreb School of Medicine (UZSM). He is also a full-time professor in the Department of Pathology at UZSM and Head of the Department of Pathology and Cytology at Clinical Hospital Centre Sestre Milosrdnice. Prof. Krušlin serves as the Board Member and the Scientific Committee member in Alliance4Life Bridge.

An Associate Professor of Pathophysiology and a Specialist of the Laboratory Medicine. He received a PhD degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin as the best student in the Physiology program. Filip leads a research group focusing on the energy metabolism in cardiovascular diseases and cancer. He received several awards for academic achievements, and he was involved in NIH, European and national research grants.

Vice-Dean for Research and Innovation and associate professor of pediatrics at Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine, specializing in pediatric nephrology. His research focuses on early cardiovascular injury in children with chronic kidney disease and cardiometabolic risks. He is a council member of the European Society for Pediatric Nephrology and has completed fellowships at leading institutions worldwide.

Head of the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Pharmacology at the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis and Professor at Riga Stradins University, specializing in drug discovery and cardiometabolic pharmacology. Her research focuses on cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial protection. She collaborates with academia and industry and serves on the Scientific Committee of Alliance4Life Bridge.

Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Vice Dean for Research at the University of Ljubljana, specializing in reproductive physiology, endocrinology, genetics, and teratology. She mentors PhD students and leads research projects, with a background as Assistant Medical Director for Research at University Medical Center Ljubljana. She also serves as Editor-in-Chief of a Slovenian medical journal.

Head of the Laboratory for Molecular Neurobiology and Associate Professor of Pathophysiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana. His research focuses on regulation of energy metabolism and ion transport in skeletal muscle cells.

Professor of Physiology and Pathophysiology and Vice-Dean for Studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana. He mentors master's and PhD students and leads research projects internationally. With experience at Columbia University and the University of Oslo, he promotes internationalization and serves as Vice-President of the ECTS-Medicine Association.

Director of the Center of Science & Innovations and Vice-Rector for Business Development at SU, with a focus on clinical and space pharmacology. She holds an MD and PhD in cardiovascular prevention and has over 15 years of experience in primary healthcare management. Additionally, she has worked in the pharma industry and served as Secretary General of the European Union of General Practitioners.

A Professor of Virology and Vice-Rector for scientific research, she specializes in clinical microbiology and emerging viral diseases. Her research focuses on HIV, viral hepatitis, and vaccine efficacy. She leads national and international initiatives in virology and immunology, serving as President of Romania’s NITAG and holding key roles in microbiology and infectious disease organizations.

A Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Romania’s largest medical university and Head of the “Dr. I. Cantacuzino” Clinic, she has led projects in technology transfer and intellectual property. Her research focuses on women's reproductive health, including gestational diabetes and preterm birth. Actively involved in national and European scientific boards, she contributes to advancing medical research.
