The Alliance4Life Board and Steering Committee will meet online on 30 September to discuss A4L_BRIDGE progress, upcoming activities, and preparations for the Review Meeting on 27 January 2027.

Dace Kārkle, Acting Director of NIRI, will present how our Latvian partner LIOS merged with the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre to form the new National Research and Innovation Institute (NIRI).

A key topic will be the future of Alliance4Life beyond BRIDGE. Board members will discuss possible funding models and how to sustain the Alliance's activities and collaboration after the project ends.

Key outcomes will be shared with the Alliance4Life community after the meeting.

The workshop will introduce the general budget structure and funding rules of two major Horizon Europe funding models – actual cost grants and lump sum grants, with the inclusion of examples specific for ERC grant scheme.

Roundtable: Scientific Research in Clinical Hospitals

The roundtable will bring together deans, hospital directors, scientists, physicians, and representatives of the relevant ministries to discuss opportunities for strengthening scientific and research activities in clinical hospitals and medical faculties.
